You know this, but when you tried to use stories, even though you tried to be professional by telling stories only about your clients, you still feel reluctant and a bit ashamed. Are not stories for bed time?
Your body has this negative reaction because your rational mind hasn’t understood this:
“Facts tell, stories sell” You must have heard Eisenberg quote before…
Well, he said this because he knew that humans brain collect, analyse and take decisions once they have visualised a story with a clear end.
This is not new,
There are scientific studies showing how a story is able to bypass the Neurocortex and penetrate the area responsible for visualisation.
These same studies showed how decisions are made in the instinctual part of our brain, to lastly be validated with the logic side of our brain.
You can see how stories are a core to your sales, but you also can feel how enjoyable stories are, how easy they help you understand new concepts.
Once you rationalised this information,
You’ll feel free to use stories because your subconscious will see that feeling ashamed makes no sense.
Is time to enjoy using stories in your content without feeling ashamed!
